After a thorough investigation, and with legal consultation, the National Executive Council has determined that a rerun of the National Officer Election is warranted. AMFA National is conducting this rerun election in accordance with Article VII of the AMFA Constitution to fill the following positions: Assistant National Director, National Secretary/Treasurer, National Safety and Standards Director, and Region II Director. The term of office for all of these positions will commence on January 8, 2013, and the duties for these positions may be found in Article VI of the AMFA Constitution.

The candidates for National Office are as follows:

Votes for this election will be cast using the TrueBallot Inc., WebVote® and TeleVote® systems. All Active and Active Associate AMFA members in good standing are eligible to vote in this election. Note: Any member whose membership dues, fees, and/or assessment obligations have not been reconciled is a member in bad standing, and therefore, is ineligible to vote.

The election notice and voting instructions will be mailed to eligible voters at the address on file with AMFA National on November 20, 2012. Any eligible member who has not received voting instructions in the mail by November 27, 2012, or anyone having questions about the voting process, should contact the Elections Administrator at 720-744-6629. The vote tally will be on December 20, 2012, and the results will be released by December 21, 2012.
