Dear Tech Ops Team and AMFA Members
Last week, the AMFA Negotiating Committee and WestJet management negotiating team met in Calgary to continue bargaining towards a first collective agreement for our valued AMEs and Technical operations support teams. The WestJet management negotiating team passed their most recent comprehensive proposal on Friday April 26, 2024. We have scheduled follow-up dates, specifically May 2-4, to continue negotiations in Chicago, Illinois.
We look forward to continuing bargaining in Chicago with the joint goal of reaching our first agreement.
