AMFA and Southwest Airlines (SWA) have been engaged in bargaining exchanges, held virtually, regarding an extension to the Aircraft Appearance Technician (AAT) CBA. These discussions commenced in early June 2021 and presently continue.
The Parties have agreed to meet in person to increase productivity of bargaining with the goal of reaching an agreement in principle on an extension to the AAT CBA. These face-to-face meetings are scheduled for February 8-10 in Dallas, TX. All four AMFA-SWA Airline Representatives (ALRs), the Regional Directors, legal counsel, and AMFA’s labor economist will be present for these upcoming negotiation sessions.
Please do not hesitate to contact your ALR with any questions you may have, and rest assured AMFA will update its SWA Appearance Technician members promptly following the conclusion of next week’s bargaining session.
