Dear AMFA Members,
Today, on November 11, we pause to reflect on the profound sacrifices made by those who have served in our armed forces. Observed as Veterans Day in the United States and Remembrance Day in Canada and other nations, this day honors the bravery, dedication, and selflessness of veterans everywhere—including many within our own AMFA family.
Our union, the Aircraft Mechanics Fraternal Association, is built on the principles of craftsmanship, solidarity, and unwavering commitment to safety and excellence. These values echo the spirit of service embodied by our veteran members and their comrades. Whether maintaining aircraft that support global operations or ensuring the safety of those who fly, we recognize how the skills and discipline honed in military service strengthen our profession and our communities.
To all AMFA members who have served, and to the families who supported them: Thank you. Your contributions, both in uniform and in our hangars, inspire us all. Let us carry forward their legacy by standing united, supporting one another, and advocating for the rights and well-being of every aircraft maintenance technician.
In remembrance and gratitude,
The AMFA NEC
