In April 2025, AMFA National called for nominations to fill the Alternate AMFA–Spirit Airlines Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) Event Review Committee (ERC) Representative position, and all Spirit Airline members were allowed to submit nominations.
Following the close of the Willingness to Serve process of this election, there is only one candidate for this position: Michael Marchut.
As only one candidate is running unopposed, an election is not required. The term of service for the Alternate AMFA-Spirit ASAP ERC Representative will commence on July 1, 2025.
