October 22, 2025 -- The Parties met in Winnipeg on October 14-17, and exchanged economic term sheet proposals and engaged in discussion regarding economic items while also aligning on certain concepts.
October 21, 2025 -- The Parties met in Chicago on October 7-8. This was not a mediated bargaining session because the Mediator is prohibited from working during the federal government shutdown.
October 21, 2025 -- AMFA is pleased to announce that the Jazz Line and JTS Negotiating Committees have each reached TAs with Jazz Aviation LP following three days of negotiations held October 15–17, 2025, in Vancouver, BC. These comprehensive agreements represent significant progress for AMFA members across both Jazz Line Maintenance and Jazz Technical Services operations in Canada.

August 14, 2025 -- AMFA stands with the dedicated Air Canada Flight Attendants of CUPE in their fight for fair wages, respect, and improved working conditions, which have been suppressed for a decade.
August 12, 2025 -- The Parties held a bargaining session, August 5-7, 2025, in Chicago to continue bargaining toward a first collective bargaining agreement (CBA) for the Spirit group. This was our tenth session in mediation with the National Mediation Board (NMB).
May 13, 2025 -- On May 12, 2025, the Aircraft Mechanics Fraternal Association (AMFA) applied to the National Mediation Board (NMB) for a determination that Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines constitute a single transportation system for purposes of representing individuals in the craft or class of Mechanics and Related Employees. AMFA anticipates that, within six weeks, the NMB will confirm that the two airlines constitute a single carrier for representation purposes.
