The AMFA-Calm Air Negotiating Committee (“Committee”) is providing this update to the membership at Calm Air International LP (“Calm Air” or the “Company”). This is the only official source of negotiating communications by the Committee.

The Parties met in Fort Worth, Texas, United States, on November 10-13 for a collective bargaining session. As you will recall, the Parties concluded the October session engaged in off-the-record discussions exploring areas of possible alignment. Those off-the-record discussions continued during this week’s negotiations in Fort Worth in an attempt to reach an agreement on all remaining open items in this collective bargaining process.

We are pleased to inform you that, after four long days of off-the-record discussions in Fort Worth, the Parties resolved the open issues and late last night reached an Agreement-in-Concept (AIC) on the terms for a successor Collective Agreement.

An AIC signifies the Parties have reached alignment on a new Collective Agreement but still need to finalize and convert the AIC into a cover-to-cover Tentative Agreement (TA) for your review and consideration. AMFA Legal will immediately begin the process of converting the AIC into a full TA. Once that is complete, the Company will review, and AMFA will complete its internal processes required to deliver the TA to you for review. AMFA will then conduct an education process (i.e., roadshow) to present the TA to you and answer any questions you may have. Thereafter, you will cast your vote regarding ratification of the TA.

We will keep you updated as this process unfolds, and we encourage you to reach out to your ALR, Collin Ayotte, with any questions.

It was our collective solidarity that allowed us to reach this AIC. We thank you for your tremendous support throughout this entire process. We also take this opportunity to thank the Company negotiators for the many hours of work they devoted to this process.

Fraternally,

Your AMFA-Calm Negotiating Committee
