AMFA National is calling for nominations from the Spirit Airlines (“Spirit”) membership for the positions of Primary and Alternate AMFA–Spirit Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) Event Review Committee (ERC) Representatives.
The Primary AMFA ASAP Representative serves as the Spirit Airlines membership’s representative on the ASAP ERC and reports to the National Safety and Standards Director or his designee. This is anticipated to be a part-time position utilized on an as needed basis. The Alternate will serve in the event the Primary is unavailable.
The Primary will be elected to a two-year term that commences on July 1, 2024, and will expire at 11:59 pm et on June 30, 2026, or upon termination of the program, whichever occurs first. To coincide with the election cycle defined on the AMFA National ASAP Policy, the term of service for the Alternate will commence on July 1, 2024, and will expire at 11:59 PM ET on June 30, 2025.
All active AMFA members in good standing employed by Spirit Airlines are eligible to be nominated for these positions. Nominations must be submitted on the attached form to elections@amfanatl.org no later than 5:00PM ET on April 17, 2024.
