The AMFA – Southwest Airlines (SWA) Negotiating Committee has requested a system-wide referendum regarding an Aircraft Appearance Technician (AAT) 2nd Contract Extension Tentative Agreement (TA). The complete text of the agreement was posted to the AMFA National website for your review and consideration.
Votes for this referendum will be cast using the ElectionBuddy system, and all active AMFA members in good standing employed by Southwest Airline under the AAT CBA are eligible to vote in this referendum. Note: Any member whose membership dues, fees, and/or assessment obligations have not been paid in full is a member in bad standing, and therefore, is ineligible to vote. Members are strongly urged to resolve any arrearage prior to this referendum being conducted.
The Referendum Notice and Instructions will be emailed to eligible voters who have a personal email address on file with AMFA National on September 15, 2022. Referendum Notice and Instructions postcards will also be sent to the address on file with AMFA National. Any eligible member who has not received voting instructions by September 29 or anyone having questions about the voting process, should contact 720-744-6629.
The voting period for this referendum will end at 10:00 AM ET on October 11, 2022, the day of the tally.
