The AMFA-Horizon Negotiating Committee (the “Committee”) is providing this update to the membership at Horizon Air. This is the only official source of negotiating communications by your Committee.
On April 6, 2025, AMFA and Horizon reached a tentative agreement (TA) on a successor collective bargaining agreement. The TA will be made available via company email today for your review and consideration, followed by a ratification vote of the AMFA-Horizon members. Thank you for your patience as the parties did a detailed review of the TA language and a comprehensive clean-up of the CBA. Even this past week, we had discussions with the Company to reach alignment on certain issues.
AMFA and Horizon have finalized documents for your review. Horizon will send you the following documents through Company email:
(i.) the “markup” version of the TA with all the amendments shown
(ii.) a “clean” copy of the TA
In addition, AMFA will distribute a TA Summary Document during the upcoming roadshow.
Pursuant to the AMFA Constitution, the TA will be available for your review prior to your Committee commencing the roadshow process. A roadshow is a process that allows your Committee representatives to visit many, if not all, of the stations in the system to answer questions you may have regarding the TA. AMFA will publish the roadshow schedule in the coming week.
AMFA National has scheduled a ratification vote on the TA. Voting will start April 15 and end May 6. An email with voting instructions will be provided and sent to your personal email on file with AMFA. Additionally, a postcard will be sent to each member’s address on file with AMFA.
