CENTENNIAL, CO – October 21, 2025 – The Aircraft Mechanics Fraternal Association (AMFA) is pleased to announce that the AMFA–Jazz Line and AMFA–Jazz Technical Services (JTS) Negotiating Committees have each reached tentative agreements (TAs) with Jazz Aviation LP following three days of negotiations held October 15–17, 2025, in Vancouver, British Columbia. These comprehensive agreements represent significant progress for AMFA members across both Jazz Line Maintenance and Jazz Technical Services operations in Canada.

“The workforce has dealt with years of pressure, sacrifice, and intensive workloads to safely maintain their aircraft fleet across both Jazz Line and JTS operations,” said AMFA National President Bret Oestreich. “The improvements attained for both these groups provide well-deserved enhancements for our membership and their families.”

The two separate agreements provide enhancements for both groups, including:

  • Double-digit wage increases effective November 1, 2025
  • Additional wage increases of 3.25% in the second and third years, and 3.5% in the fourth and fifth years of the five-year agreement
  • Enhanced pension benefits supporting long-term financial security
  • Elimination of all DOR references related to wage and benefits adjustments
  • Rationalized vacation slot structure to ensure members can use all earned vacation time
  • Reintroduction of a Stat Bank for all employees

“The two AMFA Negotiating Committees truly appreciate the memberships’ engagement, feedback, patience, and participation during the five-month bargaining process. As always, AMFA strives to raise industry standards, increase recognition of our craft and trade, protect our work and members, improve quality of life, advocate for industry-changing wages, and enhance benefits,” said Oestreich. “We believe these agreements have achieved our goals.”

In the coming weeks, the complete text of the tentative agreements will be distributed to each group for review and consideration. Following a virtual roadshow to address questions from the membership, a ratification referendum will be conducted to provide AMFA members in each group the opportunity to vote on their respective agreement.
