The Aircraft Mechanics Fraternal Association (AMFA) has received multiple inquiries from Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines employees who have not yet received their ballot for the upcoming Representation Election, which will be tallied on February 12, 2026.
Because this is a mail-in paper ballot election, it is critical that any employee who has not received their ballot requests a duplicate ballot from the National Mediation Board (NMB) as soon as possible to allow sufficient time for mailing and return before the tally deadline.
Requesting a Duplicate Ballot
The NMB has provided specific instructions for requesting a replacement ballot. Those instructions are outlined below:
To help employees complete this process accurately, efficiently, and in a neutral manner, AMFA is sharing the attached Duplicate Ballot Request template that may be used when submitting your request to the NMB.
Important: Duplicate ballot requests must be wet-signed by the employee. Electronic or typed signatures will not be accepted and may result in the request being rejected by the NMB.
