On December 16, you will begin voting in a union representation election that will be the most important vote of your career. Before you vote, we want you to have clear, concrete information about what AMFA has already delivered for AMTs at another major carrier—and what that could mean for you.
What AMFA Has Achieved for AMTs at Alaska Airlines
AMFA-represented AMTs at Alaska Airlines earn about $28,000 more per year than AMTs at Hawaiian. That’s roughly $540 more every week—money that goes directly into a family budget, savings account, or retirement plan.
These gains didn’t happen by accident. They were negotiated by an organization focused solely on the craft and class of AMTs.

Proven Contract Language That Puts Money in AMTs’ Pockets
One example: AMFA negotiated a “Rising Tides” provision at Alaska Airlines. When wages increase in one city or at one step, everyone beneath that step moves up automatically. No AMT gets left behind.
AMFA also secured an annual wage review, ensuring AMTs remain at the top of the industry when compared with both other airlines and other workgroups. When others receive raises, this review can mean additional money for AMTs, too.
