March 7, 2022 -- In accordance with Article XXIII, Section 3 of the AMFA Constitution, AMFA National is conducting a survey to prioritize proposals submitted for the upcoming AMFA – Southwest Airlines (SWA) Facilities Maintenance Technician (FMT) contract negotiations. This survey gives you an opportunity to indicate your opinion of the level of importance for each proposal by ranking it high, neutral, or low priority, and the results of this prioritization vote will be given to the Negotiation Committee to be used during the contract negotiation process. February 21, 2022 -- In accordance with Article VIII, Section 1 of the AMFA Constitution, the National Executive Council has called for a special election to fill the vacant office of National Vice President. The term of office will commence on the first Monday in April 2022 and will expire on October 7, 2024. The duties for this position may be found in Article VI of the AMFA Constitution.

December 19, 2019 -- The National Executive Council, with guidance from legal counsel, has terminated the Region II Director Recall Referendum. The Local 4 Local Executive Council (LEC) and SWA Airline Representative petitioned the NEC to conduct the recall referendum for the recall of Region II Director Wilber Abbott in November 2019. On December 15, 2019, Local 4 President Terry Arnold informed the NEC that another Local 4 member has come forward and has been identified as the individual responsible for the messages posted on the Airline Forum, the act for which the recall petition and allegations were was filed against Mr. Abbott.

April 8, 2016 -- In March 2016, AMFA National called for nominations to fill the position of Primary AMFA – Alaska Airlines (ASA) Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) Event Review Committee (ERC) Representative. Alaska Airlines members of Locals 14 and 32 were allowed to submit names in nomination for this position. Following the close of the Willingness to Serve process of this election, there is only one candidate for this position: Kevin Jurasinski.
In March 2015 AMFA National called for nominations to fill the position of Alternate AMFA – Southwest Airlines (SWA) Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) Event Review Committee (ERC) Representative. Southwest Airlines members of Locals 4, 11, 18, and 32 were allowed to submit names in nomination for this position. Following the close of the Willingness to Serve Form process of this election, there is only one candidate for this position: Larry Dildine.
