CENTENNIAL, Colo. – May 19, 2026 –The Aircraft Mechanics Fraternal Association (AMFA) National Executive Council (NEC) is proud to announce the recipients of the 2026 AMFA National Scholarships. These scholarships recognize students pursuing careers in the aviation maintenance profession and reflect AMFA’s continued commitment to supporting the next generation of Aircraft Maintenance Technicians/Engineers.

The AMFA Scholarship Program is open to students enrolled in an A&P school, university, or Transport Canada-approved college working toward obtaining their A&P or AME license and who citizens of the United States or Canada. Recipients were randomly drawn from a pool of qualified applicants in accordance with the scholarship guidelines.

For 2026, three $2,000 scholarships were awarded and paid directly to the recipients’ institutions of higher learning. The 2026 AMFA Scholarship recipients are:

  • Crystal Bean — attending A&P School at US Aviation Academy in Madison, MN
  • Cameron Kenison — attending A&P School at Utah State University in Logan, UT
  • Diarra Trim — attending A&P School at Columbia University in Washington, DC

AMFA congratulates Crystal, Cameron, and Diarra on their achievements and wishes them continued success as they pursue careers in the aviation maintenance industry. Their dedication to the profession represents the future strength, professionalism, and skill of the aircraft maintenance craft.
