In April 2026, AMFA National issued a call for nominations to fill the Primary AMFA–Sun Country Airlines Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) Event Review Committee (ERC) Representative position. All Sun Country Airlines members in good standing were eligible to submit nominations.
Following the close of the Willingness to Serve process, there are no candidates for the position; therefore, an election will not be conducted.
In accordance with established procedure, the National Safety & Standards Director, with input from the Local Safety and Standards Chairs, the affected Locals, and the Airline Representative(s), has selected Russ Olson to fill the position for the 2026–2028 term.
