AMFA – Alaska Airlines Members Vote to Ratify Contract
AURORA, Colo. – March 3, 2017 – It is clear by the outcome of today's 76.25% majority vote that the AMFA–Alaska Airlines membership thought it was the right decision for themselves and their families to accept the Tentative Agreement.
“I extend my gratitude for the patience and professionalism by our Aircraft Maintenance Technicians (AMTs). The Negotiating Committee worked diligently to achieve this agreement,” said Bret Oestreich, National Director. “It represents a much needed increase in pay and benefits for our unified members and shows the strength of AMFA at the bargaining table. The increases are earned as compensation for their daily responsibilities as AMTs during a time of economic growth and record profits for this radically changing airline industry.”
