AMFA National is calling for nominations from the membership at Spirit Airlines (NKS) to fill the positions of Airline Representative (ALR) and Member-at-Large Negotiator.
The AMFA-NKS ALR is the main point of contact for the membership at Spirit Airlines, oversees the enforcement of your status quo work rules, pay and benefits, and is a voting member of your Negotiating Committee. The term of service for the ALR will commence on January 31, 2023, and will expire to coincide with the election cycle prescribed by the Bylaws of the Local the membership is assigned to after a Collective Bargaining Agreement is achieved; however, the term will not exceed two years.
The Member-at-Large Negotiator is a voting member of your Negotiating Committee. The term of service for this position will start immediately following the conclusion of this vote and will cease to exist after the date of signing of the collective bargaining agreement.
All active AMFA members in good standing employed by Spirit Airlines are eligible to be nominated for these positions. Nominations must be submitted on the attached form to elections@amfanatl.org no later than 5:00PM ET on November 22, 2022.
