Due to the recent resignation of the AMFA Accident Investigation Team Party Coordinator, we are beginning the process to fill the vacated position.
We are seeking one individual well versed in all aspects of aircraft maintenance. The Party Coordinator will be responsible for team administration, annual team budget, ensuring team member training, and other duties as given by the National Safety and Standards Director. Please note that every member of this team is required to sign a four year minimum commitment due to training costs. Also, in the event of a major accident, members that are party to an NTSB investigation may be required to remain on scene for a few days or up to several weeks or months. Your commitment to the team is important as these accidents do not always happen at the most opportune times and there are requirements that you need to comply with to participate.
Interested candidates should submit the attached application to your respective Local Safety and Standards Chairman or to Scott.King@amfanatl.org no later than 5:00pm et on July 31, 2017. An interview process will be conducted in accordance with AMFA National Policy to select the Party Coordinator.
