Dear AMFA Members:
Please see the attacheds letter from Robert Alway, AEI Secretary General, calling all affiliate members that are in the European Union (EU) to take immediate action to reach out to their aviation regulators and legislators. This call to action is in response to an increase from member countries to diminish the oversight and responsibilities of the Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer. This continued effort, as mentioned in earlier updates, will threaten aviation safety by removing the oversight that only licensed aircraft maintenance technicians provide.
