On January 11, 2024, AMFA and Alaska announced an Agreement in Concept (AIC) on a new five-year Agreement. The Committee has been working with the Company for the last two weeks and has completed and agreed on the new language. This means we now have a Tentative Agreement (TA). The full TA document will be emailed to every individual through their Alaska email for your review. It will also be posted on the Maintenance and Engineering SharePoint site.
Currently, the Committee is evaluating the need for roadshows and/or Zoom meetings. Due to the fact a roadshow was done previously for the Agreement reached in September and only a few changes to the TA, we may not be doing a station-by-station visit. In the meantime, if you have questions after reviewing the TA, please reach out to your Airline Representative.
National will be setting up a voting timeline next week. Note, voting will not begin until you have had TA available for fourteen days.
